Are you sick and tired of acquiring that garlic breath but you can just stop yourself from eating food which has this spice? Most of us are more interested with eating food containing different spices. Knowing that these spices may contribute to that garlic bad breath smell, we would still opt to take in such food into our system. Isn’t it good news to find ways on how to eat your favorite spicy food without having to think of obtaining that annoying garlic bad breath all the time?

You are aware that even by just touching garlic, you will not be able to get rid of that garlicky smell just like that, right? So, eating food which has this spice would not as much advisable as well.

However, this can be very frustrating because it means that you will not be able to enjoy eating your salad with garlic dressing, and eating your pasta with garlic bread. This may seem to be dull food for you. Who doesn’t want to have garlic on their spicy dishes? But thinking of its smell coming from your mouth may just want you to back off for a while.

First thing that you can do is to flush out that spicy odor from your mouth. To go about this, you need to gargle water for the initial rinse and then follow it with a mouth wash.

You may have to do this several times. This is for the reason that once you eat garlic, it then reacts with other acids already present in your mouth. The whole process produces a sulfuric reaction which creates the foul smell that can last for more than 12 hours or so. Then you can start chewing mint flavored gums to activate your saliva reactions which could wear off the strong odor easily.

If you are then going to prepare food for your visitors, you may include garlic in your menu but of course you should also think that they may not like the food because of its strong spicy smell. To be able to address this issue, you may try adding some fresh parsley as a garnish to the spicy food that you’ll be serving to help lessen that spicy breath feeling.

Many people recommend parsley saying that chewing it helps lessen the problem with garlic breath. But then, others would recommend a beverage such as tea for another option when it comes to getting rid of garlic breath. Tea can help in proper digestion as well as diminishing that garlic smell from your mouth.
